The Ricardo Tormo circuit is a motor racing circuit located in Cheste , near Valencia , Spain , dedicated to the Spanish driver who died in 1998 .

It was inaugurated in 1999 with the Valencian Community Grand Prix. The circuit measures 4.005 km, the longest straight measuring 876 meters. Thanks to its geographical position that allows a mild winter climate, it hosts Formula 1 tests, while during the regular season it is home to motorbike and Superbike world championship competitions for two wheels , tourism and since 2010 the DTM ( Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters ) with regard to motoring .

The circuit is quite small. The building houses 48 boxes.

Ideal for Moto2 and Moto3, but slow for MotoGP, where overtaking is difficult.

HOW TO GET

The North Station (Estació del Nord in Valencian ) of Valencia is a railway station located in the center of the Spanish city. It is located next to the Plaza de Toros de Valencia .

From Nord Station take the train

"Renfe Cercanias - C3" will take you directly to the Ricardo Tormo circuit station .. travel time is 42 min.

Once you arrive at the station, you will have to walk for a short distance.

During the days of the races, shuttles leave from the Valencia station that take you directly to the circuit.
