The Red Bull Ring is a car and motorcycle circuit located in Spielberg bei Knittelfeld , Styria . Originally built in 1969 and initially called Österreichring, the plant was renamed A1-Ring in the nineties following an expensive renovation that had changed its layout
The facility hosted twenty-six editions of the Austrian Formula 1 Grand Prix, valid for the world championship, from 1970 to 1987 on the original track and from 1997 to 2003 on the completely renovated track, which since 2014 has again hosted the Maximum Category .

On the train
The City Airport Train is the fast train connecting Vienna Airport and the city center.
The ride leaves every half hour from 5.38 am to 11.35 pm and takes you to the city in 16 minutes. The single ticket costs 11 euros one way and 17 euros return.
At Vienna Central Station you will have to take the train to Knittelfeld, On arrival take Bus 846 towards Spielberg b.Knittelfeld Red-Bull-Ring.
