EXPONSORAMA RACING

Esponsorama Racing is a motorcycle racing team currently competing in the MotoGP and Moto3 world championships as well as the MotoE World Cup under the name of Avintia Esponsorama Racing and an Andorran license.

The team was founded in 1994 by Raúl Romero and Josep Oliva as By Queroseno Racing, also known as Team BQR. In 2012 the team changed its name to Avintia Racing, following an alliance between BQR and Grupo Avintia. In 2020 the team renamed itself Esponsorama Racing, in keeping with the name of the registered company, although Grupo Avintia remained as the main sponsor.

In 2012 the team debuted in the MotoGP class as Claiming Rule Team using both FTR Moto and Inmotec BQR frames, powered by Kawasaki engines.

In 2020 the team now known as Esponsorama Racing retained Tito Rabat, this time paired with exiled KTM Johann Zarco . They also received factory support from Ducati - with the one-year-old Desmosedici bikes - due to Ducati's direct contract for Zarco.

For 2021 , 2020 Moto2 world champion Enea Bastianini and Luca Marini have joined the team. They will both race a 2020 Ducati Desmosedici. However, they will have the different liveries of their bike as Marini will use the Sky Racing Team VR46 liveries in his bike.

MotoE

As a satellite team in MotoGP, Avintia gained entry into the inaugural MotoE World Cup in 2019. The team scored 2 wins with Eric Granado and 2 podiums with former MotoGP rider Xavier Siméon , good for 3rd and 6th place respectively in the championship. For the 2020 season, the team kept Granado and teamed it up with former Moto2 rider Andorran Xavier Cardelús.
